The CIEP exists to empower communities and schools with research-based resources for helping all learners to fulfill their unique potential. The Center has access to the BrainSMART® programs for enhancing teacher effectiveness and student learning; these programs have been shared with 3,000 educators through highly rated graduate degree programs and with 150,000 educators through professional development since 1998. The programs focus on translating implications of education, mind, and brain research into practical frameworks for aligning instruction with how people learn.
