The CIEP exists to empower organizations, communities, and schools with research-based resources for helping all learners to fulfill their unique performance potential and to reach higher levels of resilience and well-being. The Center has access to the BrainSMART® programs for bridging brain science and cognitive psychology to practice; these programs have been shared with 3,000 educators through highly-rated graduate degree programs and with 150,000 educators through professional development since 1998. The programs focus on translating implications of education, mind, and brain research into practical frameworks for aligning instruction with how people learn.
